Last night in Zagreb, the 30th anniversary of Obzor putovanja was celebrated, a specialized travel agency for business, tourist, and foreign guest travel throughout Croatia, which has continuously contributed to the development of tourism in the Republic of Croatia for three decades.
Obzor putovanja was founded in 1993 by Croatia Airlines, and the initial business activities were related to organizing tourist trips on charter flights of the Croatian national airline. This was followed by the development of so-called city break programs that accompanied the growth and development of Croatia Airlines’ network of European destinations, and over time, the agency’s business activities expanded to include the segment of business travel and receptive tourism.
The agency’s operations have been marked by continuous employment, and today it employs 21 staff members, currently ranking among the top 3 Croatian agencies specialized in business travel. A particular value to highlight is that the agency successfully navigated the greatest crisis in the history of civil aviation and the entire tourism sector worldwide, caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
In accordance with current market trends and traveler expectations, Obzor putovanja continues to modernize its operations and create its own products and solutions, such as opening new Travel Centers in Croatian airports in collaboration with Croatia Airlines, with a special emphasis on extending the tourist season in Croatia.
