The negotiating teams of Podravka and Belupo, as well as the unions PPDIV, the Independent Union of Podravka, and the Union of Workers of the Podravka Group – SINPOD, concluded negotiations on June 14 and reached an agreement on amendments to the Collective Agreement for the Podravka Group.
The amendments include an increase in the main elements for salary calculation, namely an increase in the base salary from the current 253.50 euros to 260 euros and an increase in the fixed allowance from the current 67.69 euros to 100 euros, resulting in an average gross salary increase of 5 percent and a net increase of 4.3 percent. The increases will take effect from July 1 of this year, according to a statement from the Podravka Group.
Additionally, by the end of June, all employees will receive a one-time salary bonus of 82.76 euros net.
The employer will also provide additional funds to continue offering a high standard of additional health insurance to employees, and this benefit will be recorded as a workers’ right in the collective agreement.
Work is also intensively continuing on the development of a new salary system, and the employer and unions will open a new round of collective negotiations at the end of June 2023 regarding the agreement on the new salary system, which is expected to be finalized by the end of July.
– I am pleased that we, together with the unions, have once again found a way to increase salaries for our employees. Salaries for workers in Podravka and Belupo will rise by about five percent starting in July. When we consider previous increases, Podravka has managed to raise salaries by 22 percent and earnings by 26 percent over the past 15 months.
