Companies ASEE and Payten, renowned players in the payment industry and bank digitization worldwide, organized the ‘Digital Touchpoint Egypt’ conference in Cairo last week. Following three successful conferences in Zagreb, this is the first Digital Touchpoint conference held outside the borders of Croatia. The event, held under the auspices of the Federation of Egyptian Banks, gathered local and international experts and industry leaders to explore the future of digital banking, payments, and security, as well as the challenges and opportunities in developing the Egyptian digital environment. Croatian experts, Damir Popović from IT sistemi, Alen Beganović from Eternaut, and Andrea Sarić, Robert Mihaljek, Krešimir Šuljak, and Domagoj Ciković from ASEE, presented European experiences and best practices.
Ahmed Hodieb, CEO of Payten Egypt, emphasized the significance of the event: ‘Digital disruption is rapidly conquering economies, changing the face of business and our lives, and presenting numerous opportunities, but also significant challenges for many sectors of the economy.
