New Tokić Center Opened in Osijek

Tokić Group has opened a new branch in the industrial zone of Osijek, covering an area of 1,400 square meters, with an investment worth 1.6 million euros, the company announced. This is one of the largest branches of Tokić Group, and the grand opening was attended by representatives of the City of Osijek, Osijek-Baranja County, as well as Tokić’s partners, leading European auto parts suppliers.

The Deputy Mayor of Osijek Dragan Vulin emphasized the importance of such an investment for the city, which has also begun to attract investments from technology giants and is currently the third city in Croatia by the number of entrepreneurs, after Zagreb and Split.

Tokić’s significant investment in logistics and exceptional parts inventory represents an important support and lever for further development of regional service, mobility, and the economy. In addition to auto parts and tires, the new branch also offers special support and a rich assortment of economic, industrial, and agricultural products.

The CEO of Tokić Group Ivan Šantorić reminded that the company has opened more than 20 new branches in the past two years, but he particularly looks forward to this one. – After we appeared in Slavonia last year with several new branches, we knew we needed one that would transcend the concept of a branch and serve as a ‘hub’, a central place for accessibility, organization, and support for our customers – said Šantorić.

More than 300,000 different items and over 300 brands from the central warehouse are connected to the new Osijek branch twice a day. This guarantees speed and precision in the delivery of parts for all types of vehicles, which is a crucial segment of every mechanic’s and service provider’s business. Goods will be delivered to the workshop doorstep up to seven times a day, using five delivery vehicles.

The new Osijek auto parts center is part of the development strategy through which Tokić Group invests in the areas of Slavonia, Baranja, and Srijem, employing over 70 people in total. – Until a few years ago, the perception of this area was that we were a quiet, withdrawn, and modest part of Croatia, from which people only leave. We are witnessing that this is no longer the case and that more and more businesses are opening in the county, and that more companies are expanding their operations precisely towards Slavonia – emphasized the Deputy of Osijek-Baranja County Mato Lukić.

Along with the frequent openings of new branches, Tokić Group traditionally associates donations to the local community, educational institutions, and associations. This time, owner Ilija Tokić handed over a donation to the Cenacolo community, while CEO Šantorić presented a valuable donation of five thousand euros to the Mechanical Technical School in Osijek and emphasized: ‘The amount of the donation was created from the loyalty program intended primarily for service providers, so I am handing over this donation to the new vocational staff on behalf of all Croatian mechanics,’ concludes the announcement from Tokić Group.
