Recognized as a festival of good vibes and a great atmosphere, Baš Naš festival has established itself over the past few years as a place where gourmets will be satisfied…and delighted every year! Sunset edition of this year’s festival moves to Bundek, and on this occasion, renowned Croatian chefs and cocktail masters have prepared an offering that will surely be talked about.
Melkior Bašić and Damir Tomljanović are signing the menu for the Baš Naš festival. Under the name ‘Bite of fun by Melkior Bašić’, he is preparing six types of pizza (stracciatella, spicy, margaritha, mortadella, prosciutto, acciughe) and six types of homemade pasta. To ensure it is not ‘just pasta’, one of Croatia’s most esteemed chefs is preparing the popular cheese wheel with which he will create a flavor magic. The pasta in the cheese wheel is prepared by cooking the pasta and mixing it in melted cheese inside a hollowed-out wheel. This specialty, better known in the world as ‘cheese wheel pasta’, has taken Instagram by storm, and now you will finally be able to try it in Zagreb. Damir Tomljanović is also preparing great gastro surprises.
You will be able to try burgers and wraps with his signature for all 18 days of the Baš Naš sunset festival. Fatalni, BBQ, simple i classic double smash burger, chick burger, ljuti Hot stuff burger i burger „Do jaja“ will win over even the most demanding palates. Carefully crafted buns, recipes that the renowned professor of gastronomy takes special pride in, and sauces and toppings that make the burger a rhapsody of flavors await you as part of his gourmet story called ‘Bite of fun by Damir Tomljanović’, along with wraps that always prove to be a favorite street food at this type of festival. In addition to great dishes, Melkior and Damir are preparing a special surprise for guests on June 10th and 11th and June 17th and 18th. On those days, from 12 to 3 PM, visitors can look forward to live cooking and a completely different culinary performance.
