CNN Launches Innovative Channel CNN Fast for European Audience

The American television network CNN has launched CNN Fast, a free streaming channel for the European market. CNN Fast will publish short video content featuring international stories and news from life, business, entertainment, sports, and the environment. It is broadcast by Rakuten TV, and from May 24, it will also be available on LG Channels and from June on Samsung TV Plus.

As stated by CNN representatives to the media, the program showcasing informative and entertaining video segments has been created to attract a younger audience that prefers shorter formats. CNN’s journalistic team will tell stories in clips lasting from three to six minutes, and this concise and easily digestible content will inform and engage viewers.

Innovative Concept

Compared to the parent channel, CNN Fast provides viewers, as they claim, with a completely new and different experience, and thanks to collaboration with CTV platforms, the content will be accessible across various devices. They hope that this new approach to content creation and distribution will introduce a broader audience to CNN’s storytelling and reporting.

CNN Fast is currently available in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.

Throughout the year, it will also be available in other countries, while in the parent American market, the new channel will be accessible via Samsung TV Plus and Pluto TV.
