A1 Hrvatska with the help of the integration of the Revolut Pay system brings a new payment option to users. Thus, Revolut payment will be implemented in the A1 webshop and will allow private users to perform transactions with one click. This type of payment is an innovation in the world of financial transactions, and A1 Hrvatska is the first major Revolut Pay partner in Croatia and the first telecommunications company to integrate this payment system globally.
Almost all online shoppers have encountered complicated payment systems in digital stores, which involve going from the webshop to the card server page and authorizing the transaction with a token in the bank’s application. Direct integration of payment in the webshop is a faster and simpler option. If users are shopping in the A1 webshop via mobile devices, they are immediately redirected to the Revolut application. If they are using computers or tablets, all unnecessary steps are skipped, and a QR code is generated within the webshop itself. By scanning the code in the Revolut mobile application, the transaction, i.e., payment, is realized.
The user experience on the webshop has been improved and simplified with the innovative embedded payment function, contributing to even lower cart abandonment and purchase abandonment rates. The security of the payment process has also been enhanced, as data is not shared with third parties or data processing services. The payment process takes place entirely within the A1 webshop, without the need for customers to be redirected to an external page as is the case with payments typically found in online stores. Revolut Pay provides an additional level of security during the transaction, such as encryption and two-factor authentication, which helps reduce the risk of fraud or unauthorized use.
