The Adriatic Pipeline (Janaf) reported on Wednesday that it has signed contracts with the MOL Group for oil transport and oil storage for the year 2023.
Janaf has signed a contract with the MOL Group for the transport of 2,900,000 tons of oil through the Janaf system on a “full for empty” basis for the year 2023, as well as a contract for the storage of 79,385 cubic meters of oil at the Omišalj Terminal and 70,000 cubic meters of oil at the Sisak Terminal on a “full for empty” basis for the year 2023, according to a statement published via the Zagreb Stock Exchange.
The contracts with Janaf were signed by members of the MOL Group – MOL Hungarian Oil and Gas Plc., MOLTRADE Mineralimpex Trading Co, and for the first time, Slovnaft a.s.
– The signing of these contracts successfully concludes several months of negotiations that guarantee a secure and uninterrupted supply to refineries and markets in Hungary and Slovakia and confirms the strategic importance of Janaf for the energy stability of this part of Europe – concludes Janaf’s announcement.
According to previously published data, Janaf achieved total revenues of 35.8 million euros in the first quarter of this year, which is nearly 38 percent higher than in the first quarter of last year, and a net profit of 15.1 million euros, or 68 percent higher than last year.
