Đuro Đaković Special Vehicles, a company within the Đuro Đaković Group, has contracted with the buyer GATX Rail Europe for the production and delivery of Faccns 48 m3 freight wagons, valued at 9.5 million euros, it was announced on Monday by the Slavonski Brod company. The delivery of the wagons is planned for the second half of this year.
According to data from the financial report, Đuro Đaković Special Vehicles recorded a profit of 1.2 million euros and consolidated revenues of 23.1 million euros in the first quarter of this year.
– Đuro Đaković Special Vehicles has managed to achieve the planned level of production, sales, and costs, and has also achieved a positive net result. Their EBITDA margin is 8.4 percent, while the net result is under strong influence of financial expenses. The growth of the EBITDA margin compared to 2022 was primarily contributed by high realization mainly resulting from the delivery of 201 wagons in the first quarter of 2023 and optimization of operational costs – the report states.
The majority of its revenues, as emphasized, is generated from exports, and the continuation of this trend is expected, along with ongoing activities for further business improvements.
