Viktor Olujić and Hrvoje Habjanec are the new members of the management board of Monri Payments, a leading regional company for payment services. Olujić will, in his new position, alongside his existing role as a member of the management board of ASEE Croatia, be responsible for coordinating technical teams and participating in the development of new products and services. Habjanec comes to the position of management board member responsible for the software segment for cash registers and HoReCa solutions from the position of director of the company Integrated Business Systems, which was officially merged with Monri at the beginning of the year, as stated in the announcement.

Viktor is responsible for the implementation of some of the most significant projects in the financial and payment industry in Croatia and the region, while Hrvoje is responsible for the software solutions that were key in introducing fiscalization and the digitalization of hospitality in Croatia. Olujić was responsible for the development of some of the most successful international products of the ASEE Group, including the design and development of the PKI group of products and security solutions. He also led teams that designed systems for mobile payments and payment protection when shopping online. The solutions for which he is responsible for development are today the best-selling international products within the ASEE Group and are used by more than 150 banks and banking groups worldwide to protect the security of their users during online payments.

As a new member of the management board, Habjanec brings more than 10 years of experience in leading a company that has produced not only one of the most popular fiscal cash registers for hospitality but a complete IT solution that enables hospitality businesses to modernize and optimize their operations. Habjanec introduced innovation to the hospitality sector when he offered his clients a cloud solution designed for managing cafes, restaurants, and clubs. His mission related to the digitalization of the HoReCa segment continues at Monri, where he leads the development of Remaris and Smart, two hospitality solutions, as well as Thor, a system designed for retail and wholesale for stores.
Monri, which operates under the auspices of Payten within the ASEE group, is the market leader in POS in Croatia, and in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, and North Macedonia, they are first in online card processing. In the card payment segment alone in Croatia, in the past year, the company processed more than 130 million card transactions. Every third card payment in stores in Croatia is also processed through Monri, and the company, which started as a startup, now employs more than 120 people.
Customers have encountered Monri’s POS terminals at over 10,000 sales points, primarily in leading retail chains, and there are more than 8,500 Monri cash register solutions in hospitality establishments. Further expansion into the international market is underway, focusing on Romania, and then Italy.
At the beginning of the year, the merger of the companies Integrated Business Systems, Gastrobit Grc Group, WebStudio, and Monri was successfully completed, which now operates as one company under the Monri brand.
