Provectus Capital Partners has invested over seven million euros in the development of Aviva, a new development cycle begins

Poliklinika Aviva, a member of Arsano Medical group of private healthcare institutions in Croatia, is launching a new development cycle that includes expanding the range of healthcare services and hiring new specialists, as well as significant new investments in technology and relocating to new, larger premises in Zagreb. Thus, Poliklinika Aviva will move from its current location at Nemetova Street 2 in Zagreb on April 20 to a new address at Trpinjska Street 7.

In a year and a half since acquiring Poliklinika Aviva, Provectus Capital Partners has invested over seven million euros in the development of Aviva, of which just under four million euros has been allocated for the new premises on Trpinjska Street. The total investment in the consolidation of the Arsano Medical Group has reached 45 million euros, which is also the largest investment in private healthcare in Croatia.

As explained at today’s press conference by Igor Čičak, CEO and main partner of Provectus Capital Partners and chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Arsano Medical group, as an investment company, they are focused on projects that have a broader benefit for society, including healthcare. In addition to Aviva, which was the first investment, the Arsano Medical Group currently operates four other specialized healthcare institutions in Croatia – the Special Hospital for Orthopedics and General Surgery Dr. Nemec, the Special Hospital Arithera, Poliklinika Dijagnostika 2000, and Poliklinika Uro centar, as well as Digital Imaging Diagnostics DSD from Slovenia’s Ptuj.

– With these investments, we are the leading private group in the wider region in terms of the number of employees, the number of patients, and the value of investments, making healthcare services more accessible. After more than 40 years of operation at one location, this is a new beginning for Aviva, but also for all of us in the Arsano Medical Group who manage investments in healthcare, thus initiating a new phase – said Čičak.

He also added that they are in talks with other specialized clinics and announced growth through new investments in Croatia and the region.

– We will grow through acquisitions and organically, and we will continue to raise standards for our patients and users, with continuous investment in employees and technology – added Čičak.

New Technology

Additionally, alongside the institutions within the Arsano Medical Group, Aviva collaborates with all members of the dental group Adria Dental Group, which consists of seven dental clinics and five dental laboratories in the areas of Zagreb, Solin, Rijeka, and Poreč.

Dr. sc. Nevenka Kovač, director of Poliklinika Aviva, explained that thanks to this investment, the new space has been equipped with diagnostic and laboratory departments, anesthesiology, pediatrics, child psychiatry, a day hospital, and a new feature is that systematic examinations will now include a dental examination.

At the new location, patients will be welcomed by three new top-of-the-line radiological devices: a 1.5 Tesla MRI made by Siemens Healthineers, a new CT device, and a new X-ray machine, and the laboratory has also been additionally equipped.

– With new technology and services, as well as synergy with other sister institutions within the Arsano Medical Group and Adria Dental Group, we will make an additional leap in the market. Our new MRI device is certainly the best in Croatia, we are introducing a day hospital, which is a step forward in private clinics, we are introducing new departments such as anesthesiology, pediatrics, and dental medicine, and to make a leap in preventive medicine, we are the first on the market to introduce a dental examination as a standard part of the systematic examination. This is a significant added value for our patients, and we take pride in it – added Kovač, noting that the private healthcare market in Croatia is continuously growing.

In addition to improving the quality of its services, Poliklinika Aviva will begin addressing public health topics such as obesity and dementia starting this fall, thus educating patients because, as Kovač concluded, it has never been more necessary to talk about health.
