PBZ Group Donates Modern Ultrasound Device to the Pediatric Department of Našice Hospital

PBZ Group, part of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group, as part of its humanitarian project ‘I Do Good Every Day’ and Visa card with a heart, has realized its 68th donation. Representatives of Privredna banka Zagreb and PBZ Card, Ivan Krolo, Vilijana Belas, Andrej Bilić, and Mladenka Dubravac, presented a donation of €65,996.42 to the General County Hospital Našice, enabling the purchase of a modern ultrasound device for the Pediatric Department.

This equipment is essential for the successful treatment and rehabilitation of neuro-risk children. The donation was made in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and is part of supporting the project ‘Monitoring Children with Neuro-Risks’, under which PBZ Group has made 37 donations to pediatric departments and children’s hospitals across Croatia, facilitating the procurement of medical devices for the treatment of young patients.

– We thank you for this extremely valuable donation to the Pediatric Department of the General County Hospital Našice. With this gesture, you have made better and higher-quality healthcare more accessible to a large number of children who gravitate towards our institution. With the donated modern ultrasound device of high quality, you have enabled timely triage and diagnosis of diseases and conditions, and thus treatment. I thank PBZ Group on behalf of the Pediatric Department, all employees of OŽB Našice, our young patients, and their parents – emphasized the head of the Pediatric Department of the General County Hospital Našice Gabrijela Rendulić Wolf, MD, specialist pediatrician.

– We are particularly proud of our project ‘I Do Good Every Day’, which celebrates its fifteenth anniversary this year. Due to its longevity, persistence, and dedication to helping the community, this project is unique in our market, as confirmed by the fact that users of the Visa card with a heart, its partners and friends, and the Croatian public have recognized the value of this project. The smiles we receive from children and young people, as well as from hospital and children’s home staff, to whom the donations are intended, are our greatest motivation to continue promoting the project ‘I Do Good Every Day’, helping those who need our assistance the most. I am pleased that we have also helped the General County Hospital Našice by donating a modern ultrasound device that will enable better diagnosis and treatment of young Našice patients – highlighted Vilijana Belas, Executive Director of Public Relations and Marketing at Privredna banka Zagreb during the donation handover.

The donation to the General County Hospital Našice is part of PBZ Group’s corporate social responsibility project, a member of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group, which the Group has been implementing for fifteen years under the name ‘I Do Good Every Day’. Through this project, PBZ Group supports national, long-term projects for the welfare of children and young people, as well as other individuals in need, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Labour, Pension System, Family and Social Policy, allocating 10 cents for each transaction made with the Visa card with a heart, at no additional cost to card users.

To date, PBZ Group has allocated more than €4 million for the project ‘I Do Good Every Day’ and has realized 68 donations, including to hospitals and social welfare homes across Croatia.
