Studenac, one of the leading retail chains in Croatia and the chain with the largest number of stores, has opened the sixth round of applications for donations as part of its ‘One Step Closer to the Community’ project. The call for applications is open to all associations and non-profit organizations from Croatia that contribute to improving the quality of life and general social benefit in their community.
The theme of the donation round in February is health, so applications are open for all associations engaged in any activities related to the broader concept of health. Associations that care for children and adults with certain developmental difficulties, care for children and adults suffering from specific diseases, such as malignant diseases, rare diseases, etc., organizing and accommodating parents of children with malignant or other diseases, caring for persons with disabilities, etc., can apply. Applications are accepted from February 1 to February 28 via the form on Studenac’s website – One Step Closer to the Community.
The socially responsible business project ‘One Step Closer to the Community’ was launched by Studenac in October 2021 to financially support humanitarian, health, social, sports-recreational, and other programs that contribute to improving the lives of its community. This year, the project continues in a new format, and the novelty is that the donation cycles are thematically divided, and the amount of funds per association that Studenac donates has increased.
