Kaufland Again This Year in the Prestigious Group of Employer Partners

Year after year, Kaufland demonstrates increasing excellence in human resource management, which is why this year, in addition to the Employer Partner certificate, it has also earned the Above and Beyond certificate.

Only companies holding the Employer Partner certificate that have achieved more than 90 percent of the possible points in all categories compete for the Above and Beyond certificate. Of the total number of Employer Partner certificate holders, only 10 percent have also earned the Above and Beyond certificate, including Kaufland Croatia.

Thanks to long-term investments in HR development, the quality of which has been confirmed at Kaufland since 2016, this year their HR team has received the Employer Partner certificate, achieving excellent results in attracting and hiring new talents as well as developing, inspiring, motivating, and rewarding employees. The certificate was also awarded to the sister company EUN – Europe Property Management.

To meet all the requirements for obtaining the Employer Partner certificate, Kaufland had to undergo a detailed evaluation of human resource management that assesses employee experience across seven key stages and 40 topics. This type of HR system evaluation is the only one that simultaneously considers two perspectives – the employer’s perspective and the employee’s perspective.

The methodology for the Employer Partner certificate was designed in 2005 and has been continuously revised since then. Last year’s revision included more than fifty top HR experts, and the standards were defined based on the best global HR practices.

Today, the Employer Partner program has been implemented in over two hundred organizations from more than ten countries, and interestingly, some organizations have included the certificate as a key indicator of HR department performance, making it much more than just an acknowledgment.
