Croatian Pick & Pack Attracts Investment from E-commerce Logistics Leader in Central Eastern Europe

Pick & Pack, one of the leaders in the domestic market that uniquely addresses all logistics needs of e-commerce, has attracted an investment from a leading logistics player in e-commerce in Central Eastern Europe – euShipments. In the last days of 2022, euShipments acquired a majority stake in the company Pick&Pack, which represents an important step in the development strategy for expansion through the network of this logistics leader in the e-commerce markets of Central Eastern Europe.

In the past two years, the company has successfully grown by acquiring new clients and providing services of exceptional quality and efficiency. The company is managed by its founder Matej Javorek, who has gained extensive experience in the Croatian e-commerce industry, providing a solution that addresses all major logistics challenges faced by online stores in Croatia and neighboring countries. The business collaboration with euShipments is expected to be synergistic for both companies, helping them accelerate their growth by offering optimal service to partners and end clients.

The euShipments network covers more than 27 European countries and operates with 12 delivery centers in strategic locations across the continent, thus offering new services, optimized transit times, as well as e-commerce delivery prices for Central Europe. As a recipient of the Forbes Bulgaria Innovation Award, the company is also developing and working with advanced logistics software to provide top-notch solutions to its international clients.

– I am the owner of several online stores and I know firsthand the problems people in this industry face. For this reason, I started a delivery company to help others and ease their process. Upon contacting euShipments, I realized that becoming part of their business and utilizing their experience is the best next step for the development of Pick&Pack – says Javorek.

Entering the Croatian market represents a natural step in euShipments’ development strategy due to its rapid growth, relative saturation, and strategic location near Slovenia, Hungary, Italy, and Austria. Additionally, the recent introduction of the euro, as well as the country’s entry into the Schengen area, is expected to open further opportunities for growth in the logistics sector of e-commerce in Croatia.

– While in the early years of euShipments’ development, a large part of our customers came from the Balkan region – Bulgaria, Romania, Greece – today, based on the development of our network and investment in our international sales team and infrastructure, we have customers from all over Europe. After our partnership with BlackPeak Capital, it was only a matter of time before we made our first acquisition, which is now a fact – said co-founder and director of euShipments Svetlozar Dimitrov.
