The government on Monday determined new fuel prices during a telephone session, and from tomorrow, the basic gasoline eurosuper 95 will be sold for a maximum of 1.34 euros (10.10 kuna) per liter, while diesel will be priced at 1.46 euros (11 kuna). In the case of gasoline, this represents an increase of one euro cent, while for diesel, it is a decrease by the same amount.
The regulation comes into effect on the first day following its publication, and this regime will apply for the next 14-day period, the government reported.
Furthermore, the new price of blue diesel is 0.96 euros (7.23 kuna), which is also a decrease of one euro cent per liter.
The new price of LPG for tanks is 1.30 euros (9.79 kuna) per kilogram, which represents an increase of eight cents, while the new price of LPG for bottles is 1.87 euros (14.09 kuna), which is an increase of nine cents.
If there were no government measures and retail prices were completely freely formed at the level of energy entities’ premiums before the first regulation on determining the highest retail prices of petroleum products, a liter of basic gasoline would cost 1.57 euros (11.83 kuna), diesel 1.71 euros (12.88 kuna), blue diesel 1.08 euros (8.14 kuna), a kilogram of LPG for tanks 1.55 euros (11.68 kuna), and LPG for bottles 2.18 euros (16.43 kuna), the government stated.
