Zsombor Marton appointed new member of the INA Management Board

The Supervisory Board of INA appointed Zsombor Marton as a new member of the INA Management Board for the period from January 16 to June 30, 2023. Marton will replace Berislav Gaša in this position, who is leaving the company.

As stated in the announcement, Marton has gained experience in many areas of the oil and gas industry during his career and has participated in the realization of several major investments, including the construction and commissioning of a strategic gas storage facility in Šurice.

He graduated in economics from the University of Miskolc and later in petroleum and gas engineering. MOL Group joined in 2007. He gained international experience during a two-year stint in Kurdistan, Iraq, where he served as the company’s financial director and deputy general director. At the end of 2015, he returned to MOL Hungary as the chief financial officer. He led MOL’s oil and gas exploration and production activities in Hungary from October 2017 to April 2021.

Subsequently, from April 2021 to September 2022, he served as vice president of MOL for Refineries and Marketing, and in addition, he is currently the chief executive officer of MOL Petrochemicals Co. Ltd. Since October 1, 2022, Marton has been the senior vice president of the newly established MOL Group Downstream Chemicals organization.
