Misli More is an interdisciplinary platform of a promotional and educational nature that connects young people and pioneers in the nautical industry through sustainable development. The platform aims to unify several different segments. First is the education of younger generations about the nautical industry and opportunities for innovation and sustainable development in the nautical industry. Second is the education of existing companies in the nautical industry about sustainability opportunities and the implementation of circular principles in their own business.
The platform operates through a website, blog posts, social media, online and offline education, and networking events. As part of the platform, the first Croatian youth club in the nautical industry has also been established. Within the club, there are three existing segments: Young Business Professionals, Women in Marine, and Sustainability Hub.
Young Business Professionals includes young people up to 40 years old who are employed in various positions within the nautical industry and blue economy. Existing members consist of stakeholders from chartering, supply chains, shipbuilding, related academic institutions, insurance, marinas, and more.
The first meeting of members was held during this year’s Biograd Boat Show, where the founder of Misli More presented on sustainable development.
Members are involved in networking through online and offline events, such as online After Work Networking, while an offline Business Brunch event series is also being launched. Monthly educational sessions are organized to assist in both the professional and personal development of members. Along with a range of additional benefits, the guiding principle of Misli More for Young Business Professionals and Women in Marine is to create a proactive and dynamic community that provides a space for development and brings new contacts and collaborations.
