Studenac, one of the largest retail chains in Croatia, acquired at the end of November the stores of the company Princeza Korina, recognized under the brand Toni marketi. The chain operates in 12 retail outlets in the Split-Dalmatia County and employs approximately 40 employees.
According to their statement, the new acquisition is a continuation of the continuous growth that the company has achieved in recent years, and after this year’s acquisitions, among which the acquisition of the Dubrovnik chain Pemo and Kutina’s Lonia stands out, Studenac has now strengthened its position in the Split-Dalmatia County.
– The joining of Toni marketi stores into the Studenac network reaffirms our thesis that small formats like ours have great potential and advantages, and we successfully utilize them to fit into various local communities, as well as to integrate more deeply into those where we are already present – stated Michal Senczuk, CEO of Studenac.
The acquired stores have already been rebranded to Studenac, and the doors of the new stores opened at the beginning of December.
Additionally, as they state, customers can also take advantage of the ‘My Studenac’ loyalty program in the form of a modern mobile application that brings them value for their loyalty. Currently, Studenac has nearly 1100 stores and more than 5500 employees.
