Kremlin: Russia Will Not Supply Oil and Gas to Those Who Support Price Caps

Russia does not plan to supply oil and gas to countries that support price caps, the Kremlin announced on Thursday, but will make a final decision after analyzing all the figures.

– From now on, we adhere to President (Vladimir) Putin’s position that we will not supply oil and gas to countries that would impose (a cap) and join the cap – said Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov in a conversation with journalists.

– But we must analyze everything before we formulate our position – he added.

The G7 wants to limit the price of Russian oil to $65-70 per barrel.

The European Union is trying to agree on upper price limits for gas, and as several countries are dissatisfied with the proposals, discussions on this continue.
