Business Intelligence and Legit Open Joint Office in Osijek

Successful IT companies, Business Intelligence and Legit officially opened their joint office in Osijek yesterday. In addition to their Zagreb headquarters where both companies also share space, Osijek is their second location in Croatia, and the 9th for Business Intelligence overall.

– When making important decisions, we like to check that they are good for our colleagues, for our clients and the community, and for our company. Opening an office in Osijek is definitely one of those decisions where all the answers to these important questions are positive. Through our office in Osijek, we want to increase the presence of Business Intelligence in this part of Croatia. We plan to hire new experts who share our passion for data and analytics, collaborate with new clients, and further strengthen cooperation with faculties from Osijek – emphasized Anita Cvetić Oreščanin.

Business Intelligence and Legit have had employees in Osijek for almost two years, and there has been a desire for some time to establish an office that would further contribute to team spirit and strengthen the presence and recognition of Business Intelligence in Slavonia. The opening of the office was attended by representatives of both companies and Osijek employees, as well as the Deputy Mayor of Osijek, Dragan Vulin, and the Vice Dean of FERIT for business, technology, and cooperation with the economy, Marinko Barukčić.

The Deputy Mayor of Osijek, Dragan Vulin, welcomed the companies with a nice wish that “these spaces soon become too small for us,” while Barukčić, in his address, reminded of the importance of the connection between FERIT and the real sector and highlighted the positive impacts that the opening of companies like ours has on the development of the local community.

– Osijek has been one of the most important centers of the Croatian IT industry for years, with an excellent university and a great base of quality professionals. I am very glad that our colleagues who have mostly worked from home until now will now be able to work together from our new office – stated Dražen Oreščanin, a member of the Management Board of Legit. The Osijek team of Business Intelligence and Legit currently has eight employees, and an increase in that number is expected.
