Although it can be concluded in many ways that all business roads lead to Sveti Nedelja (or at least a large part of them), the path for PIA Automation Croatia (PIACRO) leads in a different direction – from the Sveti Nedelja area of Novaki to the other side of the metropolis, to the suburban neighborhood of Sesvetski Kraljevec where three modern halls have now been opened of 1700 m2 each to simultaneously design, assemble, and test automated production lines for multiple clients, thus ensuring even more intense development.
For five years now, this manufacturing company has been working for the largest players in the automotive industry, for whom they create the most demanding and fully automated production lines on which global leaders such as Daimler, Volkswagen, and BMW produce their vehicles or parts for the automotive industry.
The parent Austrian company – PIA Automation Austria has been operating for over half a century, and with its subsidiary in Croatia, it develops and produces customized systems for assembly, measurement, and testing exclusively for the automotive industry. Within this holding, nine companies operate at 12 locations across three continents, with PIACRO already earning the title of the fastest-growing branch of the PIA Automation global group.
