Preparations for the Season: Aminess Employees to Receive Up to 15,000 Kuna in Rewards and Benefits, Investing as Much as 1.5 Million Kuna in Education and Development

Aminess hotels and camps, one of the most successful tourism companies, has begun hiring for the 2023 tourist year. Current booking indicators for the upcoming year announce equally high interest from domestic and foreign guests. To attract more than 1,000 employees, they have launched a new campaign under the slogan ‘Where Colleagues Become Friends’, which includes their employees and well-known faces from the local scene. Aminess states that as an employer, they offer some of the best working conditions in tourism. In 2023, employees will receive up to 15,000 kuna in rewards and benefits, which includes a seasonal bonus of up to 8,000 kuna for each employee, a Christmas bonus, vacation pay, a gift for children, and in-kind gifts. Additionally, they announce plans to invest nearly 1.5 million kuna in employee education and development over the next year.

Aminess is among the first in the tourism sector to start preparatory activities for the next year as they plan to open most of their facilities even before Easter. They are looking for more than 1,000 employees to work in high-category hotels, villas, and camps at the most attractive tourist locations in Istria, on the island of Krk, and in southern Dalmatia. They are pleased with the good forecasts and bookings in their facilities, but a significant challenge is finding employees such as chefs, waiters, and bartenders.

– We provide employees with some of the best working conditions in tourism. We are looking for more than 1,000 people who are ready to learn and develop and work with the best professionals. At Aminess, we cultivate a friendly atmosphere and develop a successful tourism story – says Marina Jurić, Director of Human Resources at Aminess hotels and camps.

All Aminess employees have access to training and professional development programs, allowing them to grow within the company. A good example is Martina Labinjan, who started her career at Aminess as a pastry assistant and has since advanced to the position of pastry chef.

– At Aminess, I found more than just a job. In seven years, I learned to do my job and advanced to a managerial position, all thanks to the excellent team that cares about the satisfaction and education of every employee – emphasizes Martina Labinjan.

Considering the macroeconomic situation and inflationary pressures, Aminess tourism company states that they are proud to provide employees with rewards and benefits of up to 15,000 kuna, which includes a seasonal bonus of up to 8,000 kuna, a Christmas bonus, a gift for children, and in-kind gifts as well as vacation pay. The company also provides employees with accommodation, hot meals, paid transportation costs, regularly pays jubilee awards, and offers a monetary reward for the birth of a child.

In addition, employees participate in special reward programs, where department employees of the month and year are selected, and they can receive monetary rewards of up to 10,000 kuna for employee of the year.

In addition to extremely competitive material conditions, they are trying to attract new employees with a campaign featuring well-known faces – renowned names from the local gastro scene David Skoko, Hrvoje Zirojević, Melkior Bašić, and Matija Bogdan, presenter and actress Doris Pinčić, and singer Marko Tolja, who spent a day in the role of employees.

Furthermore, all new and existing seasonal employees of Aminess are provided with accommodation, hot meals, and top-notch professional training programs, for which the company plans to allocate nearly 1.5 million kuna over the next year. Aminess hotels, camps, and villas can host more than 13,000 guests daily, making employee education one of the key links to be well-prepared for the tourist season and to provide guests across the Adriatic with an unforgettable experience in the destination.
