Huawei has announced the start of sales for the latest member of its Mate series – HUAWEI Mate 50 Pro. The latest flagship comes equipped with a range of cutting-edge technologies, setting new standards and expanding the scope of possibilities that users expect from a leading smartphone.
The Mate 50 Pro boasts the world’s first physically adjustable aperture with 10 levels and unprecedented mobile camera capabilities that have achieved the highest score in the history of testing DXOMARK, leaving all major competitors in the industry behind. The Mate 50 Pro achieved an outstanding score of 149 points and officially holds the position of the leading smartphone for mobile photography currently available on the market.

Revolutionary Mobile Camera with Physically Adjustable Aperture
Mate 50 Pro features a top-notch 50 MP camera, with a physically adjustable aperture that can be set to 10 levels. The smart aperture adjusts its size according to the shooting scene and settings identified in automatic mode. Switching to professional mode allows for manual adjustment of depth of field and blur level.
Advanced hardware and algorithms are built in to enhance still image capture. The large f/1.4 aperture camera works with XD Fusion Pro technology to bring images to perfection. Night mode captures photos with very clear bright and dark areas, even in low-light environments. Portrait mode applies natural background blur to isolate the subject from the surroundings, while the periscope telephoto camera supports zooming up to 200x, bringing scenes from afar right before the user’s eyes.
