Project Management Workshop: Refresh Your Knowledge at a One-Day Workshop

The non-profit organization that brings together enthusiasts in the field of project management – IPMA Croatia, and the branch for young project managers – Young Crew Croatia, has been organizing Project Management Workshop for several years in a row, a workshop led by professional and experienced project managers from all over Croatia, as well as from around the world, who share their knowledge and experiences with participants.

This year, the Project Management Workshop will take place on November 12 at Hotel Trakošćan, and participants can choose one of the workshop topics:

  • Managing Remote and Hybrid Teams
  • Preparation and Control of Budgets for Projects Funded by EU Funds

The workshop ‘Managing Remote and Hybrid Teams‘ will be led by Petar Divjanović, Head of Digital HR Solutions at DEKRA Arbeit Group. As someone who manages his team remotely, through a proactive workshop, he will explore with the participants what kind of infrastructure and organizational culture is needed and what project steps should be taken to effectively manage remote and hybrid teams involved in project delivery. He will also provide advice on how to motivate your team to stay focused and engaged throughout the entire period of such a working method.

Ariana Vela, one of the most recognized experts in EU funds and public procurement in Croatia and the region, will conduct a workshop on the topic ‘Preparation and Control of Budgets for Projects Funded by EU Funds’. Ariana Vela has participated in the preparation and implementation of more than 500 projects funded by EU grants, the largest of which is the so-called ‘Pelješac Bridge’, or ‘Road Connectivity with Southern Dalmatia’. In the workshop, along with exercises on concrete examples, participants will have the opportunity to learn how to identify budget costs and sources of information gathering, understand the difference between funding sources and project cash flow, create a project budget, and monitor the overall financial aspect of its implementation.

All interested in the field of project management who wish to meet new people, expand their professional network, and gain new experiences and knowledge can apply for the workshop. More details about the workshops, speakers, and the application process can be found on the official website of Project Management Workshop 2022. Applications are open until November 6.
