The famous German tennis player and one of the best players of the last century, Boris Becker, is serving his prison sentence by teaching yoga. According to the German Bild, after being sentenced to two and a half years in prison by a British court for financial fraud, the tennis player decided to be productive and help himself, as well as other inmates, to strengthen their body and mind through well-known techniques of yoga and meditation.
His classes last 45 minutes, and in addition to providing inmates with a unique opportunity to practice breathing and asanas with him, Becker believes that by sharing his life experience, the fact that he is well acquainted with the taste of victory, as well as defeat, he can help other inmates find meaning and make the most of their days spent behind bars.
Meaning in prison
During his career, Becker won six Grand Slam titles: three Wimbledons, two Australian Opens, and one US Open. Although he is currently in prison, he strives to live like a true athlete, exercising disciplinedly in the prison gym, abstaining from alcohol, and watching his diet.
His lawyer, Christian-Oliver Moser, stated that his client has integrated into everyday prison life and feels good under the circumstances.

However, the British judiciary discovered that he attempted to hide valuables during the bankruptcy proceedings and concealed the fact that he owned several other properties, while he owed creditors as much as £50 million.
