Croatian startups are not lagging behind their global counterparts, and thus the perspective of the Web3 internet of the future is becoming a Croatian reality. Many are discussing this pressing topic, and TeamUp x Web3 meetup brings it closer to everyone and offers interested parties a way to get involved.
Lean Startup Croatia, in collaboration with Polygon Balkan Hub, is organizing the TeamUp x Web3 meetup, which will take place on Thursday, October 27th at 17:45 at the WESPA premises (Heinzelova ul. 60, 10000, Zagreb).
Panelists of the TeamUp x Web3 meetup
TeamUp x Web3 will gather some of the most successful startups from the blockchain world, blockchain experts, and organizations, with the following panelists:
Vedran Vukman (Revuto),
Tin Šarić (Polygon Balkan Hub),
Magda Milas (A1),
Ana Miličević (Telemach),
The panel will be moderated by Iva Kvakić, co-founder of Alice in Blockchain, and the entire event will be led by Filip Stipančić from Lean Startup Croatia.

Thus, participants of the TeamUp x Web3 meetup will have the chance to meet and connect with founders.
What is Web3 and how does it work?
The Web3 internet of the future is based on blockchain technology. Blockchain is ideal for delivering confidential information as it provides instant, shared, and completely transparent information stored in an immutable database that can only be accessed by network members with permission.
What are the advantages of Web3 technology?
If they want to survive, companies must continuously adapt and apply new technologies, especially when it comes to information security and business transparency. Every business is based on information, making it extremely important that it is well protected.
This technology is extremely secure because transaction records cannot be retroactively changed without a hacker taking over 50% of the computers that maintain a blockchain, which is extremely expensive and quite impossible. For this reason, blockchain could be one of the main ways to store information in the future, as it is more secure, faster, and cheaper.
