Cedevita’s platform ‘Be HERE. Be YOU’ educates the public about the challenges faced by breast cancer patients

Cedevita has launched a new campaign as part of the Breast Cancer Awareness Month, along with an online platform of the same name. Under the title ‘Be HERE, Be YOU’, the campaign aims to raise public awareness about the challenges faced by breast cancer patients and their loved ones.

As stated in the press release, the brand is introducing a new flavor, Pink Grapefruit, in symbolic pink packaging. Cedevita’s platform also features numerous useful tips and video interviews involving experts, psychologists, and patients willing to share their experiences with the public.

In order to preserve mental health and provide psychological support not only to patients but also to their loved ones, the experts from the ‘Be HERE. Be YOU.’ platform educate the public on how to be there for the patient, how to approach them when they receive their diagnosis, and how to provide adequate support and comfort to everyone nearby who is directly affected by the illness.

One of the protagonists of Cedevita’s donation and educational campaign is public relations specialist Marina Hasija, who learned of her diagnosis at the age of 24.

Although the tumor was removed, Marina had to undergo numerous additional therapies, some of which can cause infertility, so she decided to freeze her eggs as a precautionary measure.

– I won’t lie, the entire process is not exactly pleasant, but what it can ultimately bring to a woman, which is a child, cannot be compared to anything, and I would go through it ten more times if necessary – she said.

The main protagonist of this story recommended to all women with cancer, especially young ones who have not yet become mothers, to check all their options before undergoing procedures that may harm their reproductive systems.

– Ask your oncologists, general practitioners, and gynecologists to guide you. Freezing eggs for women in this situation is free, and it is essential that this information reaches everyone – Marina stated.
