The ownership change of the consumer electronics retail chain SANCTA DOMENICA has been registered in the Court Register, purchased from founder Vesna Ramljak by the largest Slovenian retailer in this sector BIG BANG. Ramljak is no longer the director. The new owner has appointed Goran Janičijević as the Chairman of the Management Board, and Robert Škelj as a member of the Management Board.
BIG BANG operates within ADVENTURA HOLDING and is part of the business empire of Slovenian entrepreneur Darko Klarič, for whom this is not the first acquisition in Croatia. His company NOMAGO has united major Slovenian bus operators, acquired the travel agency STA ZAGREB (now NOMAGO MOBILITY) three years ago, and also has the Pula bus carrier, the company BRIONI, in its portfolio. In addition to transportation and retail, ADVENTURA is also involved in IT – MARG is among the leading Slovenian companies in the field of business digitization. It also owns MARINE PORTOROŽ, the largest on the Slovenian coast.
ADVENTURA HOLDING has quickly become one of the largest Slovenian business systems with revenues of around 250 million euros and about 1500 employees. Klarič is a former journalist and producer. He was involved in currency exchange and stock market operations in business and gained recognition with the advertising company MEDIA PUBLIKUM. After founding ADVENTURA HOLDING, he embarked on a series of acquisitions. This entrepreneur, who is now retired but remains active, is referred to in Slovenia as 'serial acquirer of companies'.
