The American media company Bloomberg has ranked Croatia among the countries in the world that lead in programs to attract digital nomads, and they also published a photograph of Dubrovnik, which confirms the recognition of that city in this growing market, reported the City of Dubrovnik on Wednesday.
Bloomberg published this overview of world countries that lead in programs for digital nomads on its Bloomberg Business portal and on social media, listing 14 countries, six of which are from Europe. Alongside Croatia, the overview includes Germany, Italy, Malta, Greece and Portugal, according to the City of Dubrovnik.
For each country, they provided basic and useful information on how to apply for temporary residence as digital nomads, as well as noting that another 12 countries have announced programs aimed at attracting remote workers who stay in one place for an extended period.
The City of Dubrovnik reminds that due to the need for greater diversification of the tourist offer and the development of innovative content, in collaboration with the Dubrovnik Tourist Board and in partnership with Total Croatia News and Saltwater Nomads, they launched an initiative for the further development of Dubrovnik as a destination for digital nomads at the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic.
