YouTube Tests New Advertising Feature

YouTube is currently testing a new tab 'Promotions' within YouTube Studio that will allow content creators on this platform to promote their channels and content without going through Google Ads Manager, TechCrunch reports. A limited number of content creators are testing the new feature, as stated on YouTube’s support page.

– We have heard that content creators want more tools to help them grow their channels and reach a wider audience, so we are testing a simpler workflow from start to finish in Studio, instead of through Google Ads – the company states.

Although it is still unknown whether YouTube will add this feature in the future, it will positively impact both creators and YouTube. Its purpose is to facilitate content creators in launching quick promotions for their content, thereby increasing their presence on the platform, while at the same time being a way for YouTube to generate more advertising revenue.

Another new feature on this popular platform is a new way to manage live streams. Namely, content creators now have the ability to schedule, manage, and edit live streams and upcoming mobile streams in the Live Control Room and Studio, TechCrunch writes.
