With the aim of developing the investment and entrepreneurial environment, today Sisak is the center of entrepreneurship, gathering entrepreneurs and support institutions at the business conference and virtual job fair 'From Idea to Success' which all interested parties can follow online. This is the final part of the CROWN project organized by the Development Agency of Sisak-Moslavina County SI-MO-RA, the Innovation Entrepreneurial Center Tehnopolis, and INTERA Technology Park.
– Our best projects have stemmed from crazy ideas, but those crazy ideas had fertile ground. The biggest thanks goes to the Ministry of Finance without which we could not implement the project, as well as to the young entrepreneurs for whom we hope will succeed – said the introductory remarks by the director of the Public Administration Regional Coordinator of Sisak-Moslavina County and Deputy Director of SI-MO-RA Andreja Šeperac.

Vedran Šimunović, director of INTERA Technology Park expressed gratitude for the invitation and collaboration.
– This project has been very challenging, there were many small problems that we thought would escalate, but we managed to overcome everything and are bringing it to a close. We want to learn from you in the future, to replicate in a way what you have done here and then work together so that people stay in their own region. Young people are leaving, but today we can create a system where they can work – said Šimunović.

The Prefect of Sisak-Moslavina County Ivan Celjak welcomed all present and recognized entrepreneurs as the foundation of society and the foundation of societal development. Celjak also referred to Novska as a center for the gaming industry and mentioned projects that include work on the barracks, as well as acquiring new equipment for students of the Technical School in Sisak.

– As a county, we will do everything to ensure that entrepreneurs contribute to society. I am pleased with the creativity that our entrepreneurs have, and young people have no limits, and Sisak-Moslavina County will support that. We have secured loans for micro and macro entrepreneurs, not only for those registered but also for those planning to invest. Everything we are talking about is special in Croatia and is conditioned by the earthquake recovery. The earthquake has damaged both homes and facilities, economic and health. We are aware of the problems entrepreneurs face, but we strive to ensure conditions – said the prefect.
The Minister of Regional Development and EU Funds Nataša Tramišak said that Sisak-Moslavina County truly shows creativity in utilizing funds with numerous examples of projects.
– You have initiated a new direction in the ICT industry and the gaming industry which has not been recognized in Croatia. We are entering a period of digital and green, and here small and medium-sized enterprises can recognize opportunities to launch their ideas and projects – said the minister.
She added that they have recognized cross-border cooperation and that 200 million kuna is available from the funds for Pannonian Croatia.
She announced that new programs and competitions for the use of EU funds will start in September.

The main themes of today’s event are how to develop competitiveness and a supportive business environment, the state and potentials of small and medium-sized enterprises in Sisak-Moslavina County, and how to assist entrepreneurship in earthquake-affected areas.
The CROWN project has achieved its set goals, and the conference presents the results achieved, which can and should be an incentive for the development of the business environment in all three partner cross-border regions. Those involved in the project (partners, participants, finalists) today share their experiences and insights for all who enter entrepreneurship and develop startup projects.
An integral part of the conference is also a virtual job fair where interested parties can apply with their own companies from this area, and among others, companies such as EuroART 93, Bajkmont, and Selk will participate.
