The leading IT company in Croatia, IN2 group, celebrated 30 years of existence yesterday at the Museum of Contemporary Art with a retrospective of all the important events, projects, and successes that have accompanied them on their business journey from 1992 to the present day.
In 1992, the Croatian basketball team, led by Dražen Petrović, won a silver medal for the first time, while Goran Ivanišević won a bronze medal at the Olympic Games in Barcelona. The Croatian academic and research computer-communication network, what we now call the internet, was officially launched in the auditorium of the Rectorate of the University of Zagreb. The European Union recognized Croatia. Many things happened for the first time in Croatia.
That same year, 1992, Ante Mandić, a young enthusiast in search of new challenges, founded one of the first IT companies in Croatia, which is today’s IN2 group. Over these 30 years, IN2 group has developed and grown, and we can say that today, as part of one of the strongest global IT corporations, the CSI group, it is stronger than ever.
– The success of IN2 group is due to our people, their creativity, perseverance, resourcefulness in new situations, and motivation to participate in projects that will change the lives of all citizens for the better. I would like to sincerely congratulate them on their birthday and open a new chapter for the next 30 years. IN2 group has always been ahead of its time, just like back in 1992 when we were literally pioneers of the IT business, and so it is today when we create solutions that change the modern way of life. Our vision for the future is to continue the digitalization of Croatian society and, by implementing modern IT solutions, simplify the obligations of all our citizens, while enabling entrepreneurs to operate more efficiently and successfully. Only in this way can we all grow as a society as a whole – stated Denis Jašarević, CEO of IN2 group.
Guests were entertained by top musicians – Ante Gelo and the singers of the popular A side, while the surprise guest, who delighted everyone with her hits from the 90s, was Vanna.
More than 700 guests enjoyed the birthday celebration, including employees of IN2 group, numerous entrepreneurs, members of the diplomatic community, and public figures such as Ida Prester, who hosted the official program.
