The Croatian company Klimaoprema, one of the global leaders in air conditioning and ventilation solutions as well as engineering in the construction of pharmaceutical facilities, KOER, a technology company that developed the infrastructure for the first Croatian virtual power plant, and MCRT, a German company acquired by Klimaoprema in April last year, are becoming part of the Amelicor group.
Given the wide range of activities of the companies, including design, development, and production of top technology for the most advanced global industries such as pharmaceuticals, microelectronics, and healthcare, there was a need to establish a group that will unify different segments of the business of these already strong brands.
– We recognized the need for a new umbrella brand that will encompass the full breadth of our business and assist existing brands in their internationalization. Amelicor is a compound of two English words: ameliorate, which means to improve, enhance, and core, which refers to the center or essence. The name of the holding also connotes the improvement of life as the core of our business – explained Sergio Galošić, a member of the Amelicor management board.
