Organized by the Institute for the Development of Education (IRO), the only authorized center of the global EducationUSA network in Croatia, the EducationUSA Higher Education Fair will be held virtually on Wednesday, June 15, 2022. The fair is expected to feature a rich program in which American universities and colleges will present their study programs, explain the application process for international students, and provide information about scholarships awarded to international students. This year, the fair will also be held in an online format to be more accessible to students from all over Croatia, as stated in the announcement.
Since the fair is part of a virtual tour of representatives from American higher education institutions in the region, IRO is organizing the fair with other EducationUSA centers from the region, making it open to students from neighboring countries such as Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro. The fair is a unique event aimed at anyone who wants to gain more information about studying in the U.S. and financial support for studies – primarily students and pupils, but also parents and teachers.
All visitors to this year’s fair will have the opportunity to meet representatives from over 30 American universities and colleges and learn useful information about studying at specific institutions firsthand. From 4:30 PM to 7 PM, visitors will be able to listen to various presentations from higher education institutions about applying to study in America (searching for scholarships, application essays, letters of recommendation), and from 7 PM to 9 PM, visitors will be able to visit virtual booths of higher education institutions and talk to representatives of those American higher education institutions about topics that interest them.
