Average Zagreb Salary Increased to 8,917 Kuna

The average monthly net salary per employee in legal entities in the City of Zagreb for March this year amounted to 8,917 kuna, which is an increase of 6.8 percent compared to March 2021, according to data from the Statistics Department of the City Office for Strategic Planning and Development of the City of Zagreb.

Compared to the average monthly salary for March at the national level in Croatia, which was 7,607 kuna, the average net salary in Zagreb paid for the same month was higher by 1,310 kuna.

According to the data from the Statistics Department of the City Office for Strategic Planning and Development of the City, the highest average monthly net salary in legal entities for March was paid in the information services sector, amounting to 17,117 kuna.

In contrast, the lowest salary was paid in the production of leather and related products, amounting to 4,762 kuna. 

The average monthly gross salary per employee in legal entities in the City of Zagreb for March this year amounted to 12,530 kuna, which is an increase of 7.9 percent compared to March 2021.
