The largest price comparison portal for online stores, Jeftinije.hr, has begun dual price display for products. From now on, on Jeftinije.hr , alongside the product price in kuna, you can also see the amount in euros.
Although the obligation for dual price display formally begins on the first Monday in September, Jeftinije.hr has proactively prepared for dual price display to facilitate the adjustment and transition to the new currency for its users, online consumers, and its partners, online stores.
Until the official conversion rate is confirmed, Jeftinije.hr converts the displayed prices in euros according to the average exchange rate of the Croatian National Bank (HNB) and updates them daily.
– From a technical standpoint, the adjustment to the dual price display on our portal Jeftinije.hr went smoothly. Before the official conversion rate is confirmed, the prices displayed in euros are recalculated according to the average exchange rate of the HNB and are refreshed daily. Once the official rate is in effect, we will need to make a few minor adjustments in terms of placing the euro price first, highlighting the official conversion rate, etc. – explained Boštjan Bogataj, Head of Development at Jeftinije.hr.
