Lider invest Mursko Središće: How to Create a Stimulating Environment for Investments

The cycle of investment forums Lider Invest, organized by the business weekly Lider since 2016, concludes its journey of promoting manufacturing investments that create new jobs, increase exports, and generate added value on June 9, 2022, in Mursko Središće, CZK Rudar starting at 11 a.m. Such investments are crucial for economic recovery, therefore we are preparing a gathering of entrepreneurs, representatives of institutions, and public and local administration with special enthusiasm.

After the welcoming speeches by Dražen Srpak, the mayor of Mursko Središće, and the prefect Matija Posavec, the presentation of the Lider invest project will be held by Miodrag Šajatović, the editor-in-chief of Lider. The introduction to the first panel will be given by consultant and owner of Instar Boris Teški, who is also a member of the expert committee of Lider invest, with the topic ''How to Create a Stimulating Environment for Investments''. We continue the program with two panels whose topics are: 'How to Create a Stimulating Environment Despite All Obstacles and 'Investors and Examples of Good Practice' featuring: Anton Kovačev, head of the European Investment Bank office in Croatia, Vjeran Vrbanec, CEO of HAMAG-BICRA, Franjo Sobočan, founder and owner of Sobočan d.o.o., and Manuela Tašler, editor-commentator from Lider.

As part of the Lider invest event in October this year, awards will also be given for the best small, medium, and large manufacturing investments in Croatia. The criteria for selecting the best investments are the share of exports, the number of newly created jobs, and the modernity of technology. The quality of the submitted investment projects will be evaluated by the Expert Committee consisting of Mladen Vedriš, president (Effectus Higher Education Institution), Tomislav Radoš (HGK), Mladen Fogec (Association of Foreign Investors in the Republic of Croatia), Zdenko Lucić (Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia), Marijana Ivanov (Faculty of Economics, University of Zagreb), Bojan Jerbić (Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture, University of Zagreb), Boris Teški (Instar), and Miodrag Šajatović (Lider media).

Participation in the Lider invest Investment Forum is free of charge, but registration is required.
