MWM: Acquisition of Elgrad is the largest ‘catch’ for Lučić’s company so far

The MWM One fund is the new owner of Elgrad, the market leader in the sale and processing of plywood-based panel materials operating in the Croatian, Austrian, and Bosnian markets. It is one of the funds managed by Mawerick Wealth Management (MWM), an independent company specializing in the management of alternative investment funds.

MWM was founded in 2019 by Ante Lučić, after gaining fifteen years of experience in corporate finance, asset management, acquisitions, mergers and restructuring of companies, project financing, company valuations, etc.

He worked in investment banking at Zagrebačka banka in the Asset Management and Brokerage Department and as the chief portfolio manager at ZB Invest. Throughout his career, he has been the CEO of investment fund management companies Auctor Invest and Zodaks Investments.

Elgrad, which was previously owned by the Abramović family, with its nearly three hundred million kuna in annual revenue, is MWM’s largest 'catch' to date. The exclusive sales advisor for Elgrad’s owners in this transaction was the company Mazars.
