New Toyota Aygo X: economical and efficient

Toyota has introduced the completely new crossover Aygo X, designed and manufactured in Europe, primarily intended for the urban roads of European cities.

It is built on the successful GA-B platform (Toyota Global New Architecture – TNGA), which was first used for the new Yaris (European Car of the Year 2021 and Croatian Car of the Year 2021), and recently on the Yaris Cross model.

The new Aygo X comes in a two-tone version, and combined with a new color concept, it creates a unique visual experience that is sure to attract attention and gazes on the street. With the new Aygo, Toyota nurtures a sporty image, and the new wedge-shaped roofline enhances its dynamism.

At the front end, high-tech lights wrap around the hood forming a wing-like shape, while the large grille, fog lights, and lower engine protection create a double trapezoidal shape that is part of the Aygo’s identity.

The Aygo X is primarily designed for narrow city streets, so it is not surprising that it has an exceptionally small turning radius of just 4.7 meters, one of the smallest in the segment.

It is powered by the multiple award-winning one-liter three-cylinder engine 1KR-FE, which has been improved to meet European regulations while offering exceptional reliability and performance, with a targeted fuel consumption of just 4.7 – 5.0 l/100 km (manual transmission) and 4.9 – 5.2 l/100 km (S-CVT).
