Croatian Post, one of the largest employers in the Republic of Croatia, made a decision last week to increase salaries by as much as 20% for up to 8000 workers in operational positions this year.
– Despite all the challenges in the market, development, the impact of COVID-19 and earthquakes on business, our strength has always been our people. Along with all the investments in infrastructure and digitalization that we have strategically implemented over the past 6 years, I am pleased that we made this decision. Our people are competitive in the labor market, and it is our responsibility as an employer to be competitive as well. Workers are our window to the customer, and as a company operating in a liberalized market for almost a decade, we know very well that a satisfied worker is the path to a satisfied customer – emphasized Ivan Čulo, CEO of Croatian Post.
