Last year, Zubak Grupa introduced a completely new bonus system to its employees, which applies to all 600 employees in the 8 countries where it currently operates (Croatia, Austria, Italy, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Serbia).
The bonus system takes into account financial criteria, as well as criteria related to internal processes and employee engagement or satisfaction as some of the most important strategic goals of the company.
The year 2021 was successful for Zubak Grupa, with net revenues increasing by 18 percent compared to the previous year. Based on these results and other criteria, a total of 4.4 million kuna in bonuses was paid to employees, which constitutes 25 percent of the profit from regular operations, or 20 percent of total profit. All employees who were employed for the entire past year received an amount of 3,090.17 kuna net per employee, while others received a proportional amount based on the number of months they worked. The management team, consisting of 107 managers, directors, and board members, received larger amounts, up to several monthly salaries, all in accordance with satisfied individual criteria.
– Today was one of the proudest days in the careers of my close team members and myself, and I am pleased that our results allowed us to reward all our employees. Last year, we invested a lot of time in developing non-financial motivation, increasing the number of vacation days, and introducing one of the most modern applications for internal communication, along with many other activities. I am happy to see that all our investments are returning to us through good results. This year, we expect continued revenue growth of 10%, with 8% growth in Croatia and 58% growth in foreign markets – said Ivan Zubak, CEO of Zubak Grupa on this occasion.
