The average monthly net salary paid in legal entities in the City of Zagreb for December 2021 amounted to 8,475 kuna, which is nominally 3.8 percent higher compared to December 2020, according to data from the Department of Statistics of the City Office for Strategic Planning and Development of the City of Zagreb.
Compared to the average monthly salary for last December at the national level, which was 7,280 kuna, the average net salary in Zagreb paid for the same month was higher by 1,195 kuna.
According to data from the Department of Statistics of the City Office for Strategic Planning and Development of the City, the highest average monthly net salary in legal entities for December 2021 was paid in the extraction of crude oil and natural gas, amounting to 13,958 kuna.
In contrast, the lowest was paid in the clothing manufacturing sector, amounting to 4,550 kuna.
The average monthly gross salary in legal entities in the City of Zagreb for December 2021 amounted to 11,812 kuna, which is an increase of 4.5 percent compared to December 2020.
