Intellias, a Ukrainian IT company, announced today on its Facebook page that it is abandoning plans to open a development center in Serbia and will instead open it in Zagreb, reports Index.
Through its Facebook page, they stated:
'We have decided to close the Serbian office and open a Balkan IT hub in Croatia. In these difficult times, we do not feel adequate support from the Serbian authorities, so Intellias has decided to relocate its development center to Croatia. The new office will be located in Zagreb.
We chose Croatia because of its consistent pro-Ukrainian position – providing assistance to our army and protection to our refugees, supporting Ukraine’s request for EU membership, and closing the skies to Russian aviation.
Additionally, Croatia has a strong IT community. There are over 60,000 IT professionals in the country. We are confident that together we will be able to offer our clients the highest quality technological solutions.
We also care about the safety of our professionals who are currently in Ukraine or going abroad. We will tell you more about this very soon, and for now – Glory to the Armed Forces of Ukraine! Glory to Ukraine!' the post states.
