Given the situation in the world and the events taking place on the European continent, it has been noted that the demand for certain products has significantly increased in the past week, according to Jeftinije.hr in a statement.
Specifically, by comparing the demand of online shoppers in Central and Eastern Europe on the Heureka Group comparison platforms, Jeftinije.hr observed significant matches in the interest of online shoppers. A sharp increase in demand is seen in the categories of portable chargers, generators, sleeping bags, solid fuel stoves, and canisters.
While among Croatian consumers this match in searches is visible in the category of portable chargers, which recorded an increase in demand of nearly 70 percent compared to the previous week, among Slovenian consumers, the match with consumers in the rest of the CEE region is also visible in categories such as generators (92 percent increase in demand) and sleeping bags (100 percent increase in demand).
Of the six analyzed countries, significant diversification of demand for products that can be used for humanitarian and preventive purposes was observed in the Czech Republic. The greatest interest was recorded for solid fuel stoves (+112 percent), sleeping bags (+147 percent), walkie-talkie transmitters (+300 percent), solar chargers (+349 percent), and canisters (+536 percent). Similar demand was noted among online shoppers in Slovakia and Romania, while consumers in Hungary included electric generators (+144 percent) in their increased demand.
