Sean Reardon Joins Gideon as Vice President of Operations for the U.S.

Gideon, a robotics and artificial intelligence solutions company, has appointed Sean Reardon as Vice President of Operations in the U.S., according to a statement. His expertise and experience in complex automation projects in the robotics sector will assist Gideon in building capacity and expanding its business in the North American market.

Sean Reardon joins Gideon from the position of Senior Director of Fleet Operations at SoftBank Robotics America. Sean entered the robotics sector in 2013, since when he has held various management roles at Aldebaran Robotics and SoftBank Robotics Americas. Prior to that, he held prominent positions in logistics. Among other roles, he was the Director of Global Logistics at Sensata Technologies and the Global Logistics Manager at Dell EMC.

Gideon’s team currently consists of over 140 employees in Croatia, Germany, and the U.S. The team is expected to continue growing, and there are currently about 30 job openings.
