Plenković: The state could again limit fuel prices

Prime Minister Andrej Plenković announced on Wednesday during the parliamentary 'current issues' session that the state could again limit fuel prices if prices rise next week.

– If we have an estimate that the price will rise next week, we will again limit all fuels, except for premium – replied the Prime Minister to Miro Bulj (Most), who pointed out that Croatia currently has the most expensive fuel, that fuel prices are rising here while the price of a barrel of oil is falling.

The Prime Minister noted that, regarding fuel prices, the Government limited prices to 11, 0, and 11 kuna three months ago and kept that price for two months, thereby avoiding a blow to citizens.

After that, we left things to the market, we noticed that today's gasoline prices are higher, if we have an estimate that the price will rise next week, we will again limit all fuels, except for premium, said Plenković.

Plenković to Bulj: While you complain, we work to help citizens

Marić: VAT will not be neglected

– We will use everything at our disposal, both through bilateral relations and the process of Serbia's EU accession to request that such unacceptable provisions be removed from the law – said the minister and emphasized that 'it is equally unacceptable whether you are reaching for territory or cultural heritage'.

Therefore, such a move is unacceptable and deserves every condemnation, she sent a message.
