Croatian Postal Bank and Croatian Post Sign Framework Agreement on Strategic Partnership and Outsourcing

Croatian Postal Bank (HPB) and Croatian Post (HP) signed a new Framework Agreement on Strategic Partnership and Outsourcing on December 31, 2021, aimed at improving the quality of service to clients.

The strategic partnership between HPB and HP, along with the implementation of the 'Bank in Post' project, has created the largest business network offering banking services to individuals in the smallest and most remote locations in our country. In 2020, this project was expanded to provide banking services to business clients, as stated in the joint press release of Croatian Postal Bank and Croatian Post.

Individuals are enabled to conduct kuna payment transactions and contract products and services of the Bank in 1,016 postal offices, while services for business entities are available at 987 locations.

In this regard, the 'Bank in Post' project has made banking services accessible to everyone across Croatia who did not have the necessary services in their communities, which is also the greatest value of this unique project. In this context, the preparation of the Framework Agreement was exceptionally demanding, given that it involves a complex legal and business process that is extensively regulated and subject to strict provisions of regulators.
