At the Zagreb Stock Exchange today, the Crobex indices reached their highest level since March 2017 and are on track for double-digit gains since the beginning of this year. The Crobex index rose by 0.83 percent on Wednesday, to 2,076 points, strengthening for the sixth consecutive day. At the same time, Crobex10 increased by 0.7 percent, to 1,261 points, achieving a gain for the third consecutive day.
Both indices have thus reached their highest levels since March 2017. Additionally, both indices are on track for significant gains since the beginning of the year – Crobex is currently up 19.4 percent, while Crobex10 is up 16 percent. All sector indices rose on Wednesday, with the construction sector leading the way, up 1.37 percent.
Regular trading volume amounted to 5.6 million kuna, which is approximately 900 thousand more than the previous trading day. The only stock with a million kuna turnover was Valamar Riviera, which achieved 1.52 million kuna. Its price reached 33 kuna, which is 2.17 percent higher than the day before.
Following is the HT stock with a turnover of 883 thousand kuna, and its price strengthened by 0.27 percent, to 185 kuna. Significant turnover was also achieved by the Atlantska plovidba stock, 780 thousand kuna, with its price rising by 1.93 percent, to 370 kuna.
