With the aim of enhancing the quality of the portfolio of hotels, resorts, and camps, developing green tourism, and digitizing operations, investments in facilities managed by Valamar will reach 525 million kuna this autumn, according to a statement.
In 2022, investments are planned in Helios Faros d.d. in Stari Grad on Hvar worth approximately 220 million kuna, through a partnership between Valamar and PBZ Croatia osiguranje pension fund management company. The investments relate to the construction of the first sustainable resort, Valamar Amicor Green Resort, the completion of investments in Hvar [PLACESHOTEL] by Valamar, the construction of the Aquamar pool complex, and the overall arrangement of the tourist zone. Valamar Amicor Green Resort is a new Valamar concept of a fully sustainable eco-resort that will adhere to the highest standards of green construction, which includes environmentally friendly materials with minimal impact on the environment, the use of renewable energy sources, and a high level of energy efficiency.
A five-year investment plan in the destinations of Dubrovnik, Makarska, and Rab worth 2.1 billion kuna will focus on the reconstruction and construction of resorts within Imperial Riviera, a joint asset company for investment and development of Valamar’s tourist properties and Allianz ZB pension fund management company.
This autumn, investments worth around 125 million kuna have been launched for the reconstruction of Dalmacija [PLACESHOTEL] by Valamar and the finalization of the Meteor hotel in Makarska, as well as the complete arrangement of the beach of the Padova hotel in Rab. Additionally, throughout 2022, intensive preparations will continue for investment projects in the reconstruction of two hotels in Dubrovnik, the construction of a new resort, and a multimedia center and hotel. In Rab, preparations will also continue for the reconstruction and construction of two resorts in the area of Suha Punta.
